Introduction to Neo-Cornish

Neo-Cornish is an umbrella term used to describe a very broad and diverse group of means of speaking the Cornish language, in forms that will appear idiolectal and colloquial. It seeks to portray the form of the language being used as modern, often detached from historical sources, and thoroughly shaped by its speakers. As such, Neo-Cornish is not a concrete concept, but something broad and changing, fluid and living, and the description of features herein is by no means exhaustive or final!

Rather, you should take the features you see here and use them to your own benefit, change them in ways that suit your style of communication and your needs, and truly make the language your own. A language which does not develop does not live!
